Stuff Grandkids Built

This is Bryce and Spencer.  They each built cars for the Pine Block Derby. They won 2nd and 3rd place for Craftsmanship. Pretty cool. They were stoked.

Spencer built the blue one and Bryce the black one.

Andromeda Puzzle

This is the classical Andromeda puzzle. It is made up of six different shaped pieces. I have not finished it yet. I will be sanding it and making minor adjustments so that it fits together easily without being too tight or too loose.

This is a pretty challenging puzzle.

Chinese Origami

David gave me a Chinese Origami set for Christmas. I've been working my way through the book, and here are some of the results. Thanks, Dave. It is fun and challenging.

Nativity Scene

First, there was the star. It relocated to the west, then, I made nativity cutouts. 

So now we have Mary, Joseph, and Jesus with two little lambs.

Christmas Star

Beautiful day today, so I thought I would get out and wax creative.  I made this Christmas star out of quarter inch plywood.

 It has four pieces. I hung it on the hook pole by our front door.
