Today I was cleaning out an old computer and ran across some old family photos. I decided that I should make a page and display them for my family. They go back to my great-grandfather, Benjamin Franklin Roe (1845-1912). Then I have a family photo of my grandfather William Taylor Roe (1879-1941) and his family. A second picture of WT and his wife Lenora appears to have been taken some years later. They were share-cropers in Alabama. Then I have one last picture of my parents. They separated the next year and later divorced, so this is probably the last picture I have of them married. The last picture is of PawPaw (grandpa Archer), the Lee cousins, my brother Dickie and me.
My cousin, Rhonda "Roe" Hedderich, was the keeper of the Roe family Bible that she received from my Aunt Alice "T." It had records of births, marriages, and deaths. She copied the information and sent it to me about two years before she passed away with cancer. We all miss her.
