I took part of the Blue Ridge Honor Flight that took a bunch of us veterans to Washington DC to see the War Memorials. There were two Gold Star Mothers, two WW2 vets (97 and 99 years old), some Korean War vets, and a bunch of us Vietnam Vets. I got up at 5 o'clock and shaved, and Marcia drove me to the airport. We arrived around 6. After a sausage biscuit and coffee, we loaded the plane and went to DC. It was an A320 that had 32 rows of 6, and it was full. I had my own Guardian with another vet.
