Kidney Stone Passes

On April 4, I spent a couple of hours at the ER to find out that I had a kidney stone. I had reluctantly agreed to EMS to transport me there. I was in really bad pain and did not know why. It turns out I had a 5mm stone making its way down my left ureter.

I was sent home after a shot of morphine and told to drink lots of water. I went to my urologist the following Tuesday. Then, after 10 days, I passed the stone last night just before bedtime. I measured it at 5.3mm. Praise the Lord that is over.

Snow Starts to Fall - 8/12/18

The Big Snow of December 2018 started today.

The first pictures were taken about 7:40 AM on December 9. The sun is barely up.

The next pictures were taken about 8:40 as the sun is up some more.

I got out and took these about 9:20 AM.

I Made a Peg Game Today

I have played this game at the Cracker Barrel for years, but I have only won it a hand full of times. I decided to make my own and practice. I made five of these today. This is one of them. The pegs are black, but in the second picture, I have painted the tops orange.

I have viewed a few solutions online, so now I think I will be able to beat it next time I go to the Cracker Barrel.
